Super Storm: State of Recovery
37 images Created 26 Dec 2012
Photos from my mid December journey to check on the state of recovery along coastal New Jersey after the effects of Super Storm Sandy. Along the way I drove through communities that were relatively untouched as well as those that will never be the same. I met individuals working hard to get their homes back into habitable condition as well as others working hard as volunteers to help those directly affected by the storm. The images in this gallery show the progress that has been made since Sandy made landfall in late October. What is also clearly visible is the extent of the clean up and recovery effort that must still be made.
